DIRECTIONS TO OUR CHURCH:

From I 99:  Take the Roaring Spring exit.  Go to the light. Go straight following 164 to Martinsburg. There are signs. When you get to the light in Martinsburg turn left, go one block, turn right. We are located near the end of the block.  There is parking in the back of the church.  To park there, go to the stop sign, turn left, turn right at the alley and pull into the parking lot.  You can come in the parking lot door.  It will bring you into the Narthex.

WORSHIP:  9:15 AM, SUNDAY MORNINGS -  You are welcome!  Come join us! 

 SUNDAY SCHOOL IS AT 10:30AM --

CHOIR PRACTICE:  Every Wednesday Evening 7PM 

Come join your heavenly voice with ours!!!!

PRAYER AND COMMUNION SERVICE:  Wednesdays at 10 am

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY: Second Tuesday of each month - 10am in Homewood's Great Room. Please continue to create your prayer shawls and bring them to the church for labels and dispersement.   All knitters and crocheters are welcome to come and be a part of this wonderful ministry.  If interested call Pastor Mary at 614-4253.

WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP: October 28th meeting - planning for up-coming events.

MEN'S MINISTRY:  We meet quarterly. Next meeting will be the 2nd Sunday evening (7PM) in January.

November Happenings!!

November 1st -- All Saints Sunday -- we will be recognizing those who have gone home to be with the Lord this year, with the tolling of a bell and the lighting of a candle.

November 9th -  Thank Offering Sunday. Thanksgiving meal will be shared by all after the service.

November 30 - First Sunday in Advent -- We will be celebrating the Church Calendar.

November 30th -- Fellowship Meal --  5:30 PM

December Events

December 7th -  Women's Christmas Tea - 3PM

December 21 - 9:15 -- St. John's Choir will present their cantata -

"O Holy Night"

December 21 - 7PM  - Longest Night Service -- This will be a service recognizing that the Holidays can be difficult for those who are grieving, having a difficult time financially, or suffer from depression.  All are welcome to this  service of word, song, and prayer that speaks of God's constant presence with us.

December 24th - Christmas Eve Service - 7PM

December 24th -- Christmas Eve Candlelight and Communion- 11PM

LAY READERS: There is a sign-up sheet in the church office.

CARING FLOWERS:  If you know of anyone who is ill at home or in the hospital, please contact Kay Ormsby

UPPER ROOM: There are copies of the newest edition in the book rack in the church vestibule and on the lamp table in the Narthex.
